Case Summary
The Complaint alleges that on January 3, 2022, in the case of the People of the State of Illinois v. Drew Clinton, 2021-CF-396, Respondent, in order to circumvent the law and prevent the Defendant in the case from serving a mandatory sentence of incarceration, vacated his prior finding of guilt and found the Defendant not guilty. The Complaint also alleges that on January 12, 2022, Respondent told a prosecutor who appeared before him that he couldn’t be fair with him and to leave the courtroom because the prosecutor had “liked” a comment on a social media post that was critical of him. The Complaint further alleges that on April 8, 2022, Respondent made statements he knew to be false while testifying before the Illinois Judicial Inquiry Board.
